Franklyn Marks
Franklyn Marks is mostly wellknown because of his position as music director at the Walt Disney Studios (from 1955 on). Before that he worked as staff-arranger for NBC (1937-42) and later on as free-lance composer/arranger.
In the early fifties he belonged to the staff-arrangers section of Stan Kenton's 'Innovations in Modern Jazz Orchestra', where he wrote a few striking pieces.
