Otto Jokl

Otto Jokl (18 Jan 1891 Vienna, Austria - 13 Nov 1963 New York, USA), studied with H.Grädener and from 1926 until 1930 with Alben Berg. After that he worked as a musicteacher in Vienna and became assistent of Alban Berg.
In 1934 he was awarded the 'Emil Hertzka Prize' for his 'Suite for Orchestra'.
1940 Jokl emigrated to the US.
