Franklyn Marks

Franklyn Marks dankt zijn bekendheid aan een jarenlange verbintenis met de Walt Disney Studio's als 'music director' (vanaf 1955).

Franklyn Marks is mostly wellknown because of his position as music director at the Walt Disney Studios (from 1955 on). Before that he worked as staff-arranger for NBC (1937-42) and later on as free-lance composer/arranger.
In the early fifties he belonged to the staff-arrangers section of Stan Kenton's 'Innovations in Modern Jazz Orchestra', where he wrote a few striking pieces.
