News, In the Spotlight

Last week (December 4,5,6) in the wonderful accoustics of the Keizersgrachtkerk (a church on one of the canals of Amsterdam), the Ebony Quartet (strings of the Ebony Band) started the recordings for a new cd.

On these sessions compositions by the following composers were played : Josef Matthias Hauer, Louis Gruenberg, Erich Itor Kahn and Hans Walter Süsskind. Chorusmaster Daniel Reuss (Cappella Amsterdam) was the speaker in a composition by Süsskind.

The final sessions will take place next spring. The release of the cd is planned for September 2017.
